  • Politically impartial, we chose the name of our firm as both a tribute and affirmation of shared commitments. So, we are So, we are a mediator for training both policy-makers and the private sector in a large scale to ensure public interest at the national level especially in the ICT sector as an emerging paradigm of governance.
  • Our goal is to empower the ability of institutions – including but not limited to governments – and people to work more consistently, collaboratively, effectively, and legitimately to make better decisions and solve public problems. We believe that increased availability and use of data are novel ways to leverage the capacity, intelligence, and disruptive technologies such as AI, Big Data, Blockchain, and Deep Learning, in the problem-solving process.
Our Story
Data for Governance Lab was established in 2018 as a spin-off of the Sharif Policy Research Institute and Sharif Governance and Policy Think Tank but today it is operating as an independent think tank.
The Data for Governance Lab, in short, seeks to establish a link between national entrepreneurs and public institutions.
